Northridge Wedding | Los Angeles Winter Wedding | Joe and Rachel

 Joe and Rachel Ritter

There are many things that stand out to me about Joe and Rachel’s wedding day, but the most important was their mutual love for Jesus and each other. Wow, do these two love one another! Their first look was such a personal moment to witness, and that’s one of the blessings of being a wedding vendor. Just look at Joe’s face as he awaits his bride and asks, “Can I look at her now?”

We were connected with Joe and Rachel through our mutual friends, and soon we will get the privilege of shooting Rachel’s sister’s wedding! We can’t wait to spend more time around this family.

Their wedding day was a sunny December day in Los Angeles. What a gorgeous time of year to get married! Rachel got ready at a friend’s home which was decorated from floor to ceiling with Christmas decor, which made the whole morning that much more magical. Joe and his guys spent the morning laughing and getting the finishing touches ready so that he could marry the love of his life that afternoon.

Before their wedding day, Justin asked Joe and Rachel what was one thing they were really excited about their event. Rachel’s answer? Dancing! And their friends and family did not disappoint. Dancing as a way of celebration is such a fun memory, as friends scream the lyrics to their favorite song and smiles are beaming across the bride and groom’s faces. I love it.

Rewatching a wedding day over and feeling the same excitement and joy you felt on that day is truly something special. That happens to me every time I watch Joe and Rachel’s December wedding.

Getting married? We would LOVE to hear from you.
